Terms & Conditions

  • Globalnet Communications located at Pune, Maharashtra, is an Internet Service provider of broadband/high-speed Internet services. The company agrees to provide these services to the customer under the following terms and conditions:
  • Service Plans: Service plans are detailed in the price list available to the customer via the company’s website www.globalnetindia.com, brochures, emails, phone, etc. These plans are regularly updated. The company reserves the right to withdraw or amend any service plan, including prices and entitlements, without notice.
  • Equipment Recovery: In the event of service termination for any reason, the company has the right to recover all its equipment. Customers must allow authorized personnel or contractors to remove this equipment without obstruction.
  • Payments: Payments can be made by A/c Payee cheque, online via UPI, DD, or pay order from any local bank in favor of “Globalnet Communications” Payments must be made on or before the due date. Late payments will incur interest at 18% per annum or the prevailing market rate, whichever is higher. The company may suspend services without notice for non-payment and can adjust any security deposit against outstanding amounts, which the customer must replenish within 3 days.
  • Service Suspension and Renewal: Services may be suspended upon reaching expiry conditions. Customers can reactivate services by subscribing to an applicable renewal pack.
  • SMS/WhatsApp Notifications: Customers agree to receive service balance and other informative SMS or WhatsApp messages from the company.
  • Termination of Services: Customers wishing to terminate services must submit a formal written request. Any modem/router deposits will be refunded after adjusting for any outstanding amounts and upon the return of the equipment. Refunds will be made by cheque/NEFT only. Subscription fees and one-time payments, including installation charges and modem rental, are non-refundable. No interest will be paid on any refunded amount.
  • Taxes: The company will levy taxes as specified by current government tax norms.
  • Content Responsibility: The company is not responsible for any content accessed on the World Wide Web by the customer or any other person using the service.
  • Service Quality: The company will endeavor to maintain adequate service quality, but availability and quality may be affected by factors outside the company’s control, such as physical obstructions, weather conditions, and other causes of electronic/electrical interference.
  • Force Majeure: The company is not liable for service failures or damages due to events beyond its control, such as war, terrorism, natural disasters, governmental acts, or other similar causes.
  • KYC Verification: The company reserves the right to verify the customer’s KYC information directly or through its agents and may require proof to substantiate such information.
  • Service Suspension for Maintenance: The company may suspend services during technical failures, modifications, repairs, or testing.
  • Legal Compliance: The company’s services are subject to the license conditions stipulated by the Government of India and/or the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
  • Unlawful Use: Customers must not use any hardware or software identified as unlawful or that could compromise network security.
  • Legal Compliance by Customer: Customers must comply with all Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Telegraph Act, 1855, the Copyright Act, 1956, and the Trademark Act, 1958, along with any amendments or replacements.
  • VPN and Encryption: Customers may use VPN and encryption up to the bit length permitted by the Department of Telecommunications.
  • Agreement Validity: This agreement is valid, binding, and enforceable in accordance with its terms.
  • Arbitration: Any disputes will be referred to arbitration governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with arbitration held in Pune. Costs will be borne as decided by the arbitrators. Pending resolution, customers must continue to pay for services. The arbitration award is final and binding.
  • Jurisdiction: Pune courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any arbitration matters.
  • Wi-Fi Router Offer: The free-to-use Wi-Fi router offer is available for select plans and only to new customers. The router will be installed within 5 working days after successful payment clearance. The router is free to use during the plan’s validity period and must be returned upon service suspension or disconnection. Customers must ensure the router is in working condition during and after installation and take due care of it. Damage to the router may result in replacement charges at the company’s discretion.
  • Terms Modification: The company reserves the right to review, modify, alter, change, or amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice, by updating them on the company’s website.
  • Service Installation and Activation: Service activation depends on the technical feasibility of the connection and payment realization. The company is not responsible for any direct, indirect, or other losses experienced by the subscriber due to delays in service installation or commissioning. If the service is not feasible, any payments made will be refunded. No charges will be applied to the subscriber before deployment if the service provider or company fails to offer the service within the specified period (standard delivery period is within 1 to 7 days from the date the subscription payment is cleared). However, if the subscriber decides not to proceed with the service, all one-time costs such as installation, activation, and transaction fees from online payments will be forfeited.

The service plans available to the customer are detailed in the price list provided by the company, which is also available on our website – www.globalnetindia.com and is regularly updated with the latest plans and details. The company reserves the right to discontinue any service plan or change the pricing or benefits without notice. The customer’s service entitlements under the chosen plan will be effective from the date the agreement is signed. However, the company may alter or modify the service at its discretion if necessary.

All terminal equipment, including but not limited to the cable modem, drop cable, Ethernet card, and any devices installed within or attached to the customer’s premises in relation to the services, remain the property of the company unless explicitly transferred to the customer in writing through a separate bill of sale or transfer. The customer is responsible for the security and care of the equipment and cannot damage, alter, or remove it without the company’s written consent.
